I was born and raised in Beckley, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 2004. I then attended Marshall University, graduating with a bachelor's in psychology with minors in sociology and anthropology. I have worked with my husband, Brandon Steele, in his law practice for ten years, and have been the COO of Lootpress, an online media outlet which we began in 2020. I live with my husband, Brandon Steele, and our children in Beckley.
As a wife and mother in Southern West Virginia I want to pass on the values and traditions we hold dear to my children. I want to ensure that they are instilled with a deep sense of what makes West Virginia great: Faith, Family, and Freedom. My husband and I believe in raising our children as we were, with a fear of God and a love for our community, state, and country.
As I enter public service as your Circuit Clerk I want to bring those values to our local government and ensure we are carrying out the Constitutional duty we have to administrate a fair and efficient Court system. I have seen firsthand the challenges and issues our legal community faces. I have run a business in our economy and understand the challenges faced by our local businesses.
I am a lifelong Republican and will adhere to the Republican Party platform. I am Pro-Coal, Pro-2nd Amendment, and Pro-Life. I believe in our Constitution and will uphold and defend the rights of our citizens.
At this critical point in our community, I will be a stabilizing presence in the courthouse. The success of our courthouse and judicial system is the bedrock of our form of government.
